Crowd Behaviour

Eastbourne Town v Burgess Hill Town : Saturday 3rd January 2009

Following on from the Referee’s Match Report and correspondence from the Football Association. It is the Club’s responsibility to remind all supporters of their responsibilities, in supporting the Football Club and to support the Football Association’s ‘Respect Campaign’.

1. Refrain from consistent foul and abusive language either in chanting or directed at any official or player.

2. Respect the referee’s decisions at all times.

3. Under no circumstances to make any physical contact with officials or players or attempt to enter the field of play.

4. To use or throw any object in the directions of players or officials or onto the field of play.

The Club’s supporters have been accused, in the above match, of these four unacceptable behaviours.

In the circumstances the Club at this stage will take no further action. Just to remind supporters this behaviour will no longer be tolerated either at home matches or in away matches.
